Forged from extremely durable 1060 spring steel, this 31.5" blade is mono-tempered and machine polished. While longer and wider than our regular Katana, the hand-carved Bo-Hi help maintain balance and maneuverability. The Bo-Hi and Shinogi-Ji are hand-burnished to a mirror polish, giving the blade a crisp geometry. The sword is fitted in Turbulent Wave themed Tsuba and Fuchi-Kashira with a pair of Koi Menuki. The Saya is finished in 11-layer natural lacquer taken to a stone finish. The 12" Tsuka is paneled with genuine ray-skin and wrapped in black cotton Ito.

Forged from extremely durable 1060 spring steel, this blade is mono-tempered and machine polished. Forged without Bo-Hi, this blade is the most durable cutter in the 1060 line. The Shinogi-Ji is hand-burnished to a mirror polish, giving the blade a crisp geometry. The sword is fitted in Musashi themed Tsuba and Fuchi-Kashira with a pair of Buddhist sword Menuki. The Saya is finished in 11-layer natural lacquer taken to a high-gloss finish. The 11" Tsuka is paneled with genuine ray-skin and wrapped in black cotton Ito.

The Shobu (iris leaf) Katana, a reproduction of blades made in preparation of the Mongol invasion, provides an geometry optimized for cutting power. Featuring a diamond cross-section that flares at the Shinogi, the edge has a wider cutting angle, thus reinforcing the edge. The blade has an elegant sweeping tip without a Yokote, accentuated by a Suguha (straight) Hamon.
The 28.5" blade is forge-folded from 1095, 1080 and 1060 high-carbon steel, clay-tempered and fitted in an elegant and understated cherry blossom theme. The 12.5" Tsuka is wrapped in black silk Ito over a pair of cherry blossom Menuki. The Saya is finished in a high-gloss black 11-layer natural lacquer.

Forged from pure 1095 high-carbon steel, this 29" blade is as resilient as it is beautiful. Hand-forged and clay-tempered, the Hamon is brought out through a meticulous traditional hand-polish on imported Japanese stones. This fine polish exposes the grain of the steel, very similar to Nashiji Hada (pear Hada). A hand-carved and burnished Bo-Hi keeps this large blade balanced and lively. The blade is fitted in our popular mokko cherry theme. The Tsuka is wrapped in silk Ito. The Saya is finished in a durable black matte lacquer.
