Harley-Davidson Flaming Legends
Flaming Legends feature precise channeled liner lock mechanisms and lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum handles with hard anodized coatings, machined flame designs, and inlaid classic H-D shields. The 1/8" thick, 440 stainless steel blades feature CryoEdge, a cryogenic tempering process at -300°F. This treatment achieves a longer edge retention. Designed by Fred Carter, who over 30 years has forged his reputation as one of the industry's most renowned custom knifemakers. He has served two terms as President of the Knifemaker's Guild, and is a long-time Harley-Davidson enthusiast, logging over 100,000 miles on his 1990 FXR Low Rider.
