Martial arts uniforms

A training uniform should match the discipline, school rules and the wearer body shape. The category includes judogi, karate, kung fu and jiu-jitsu uniforms, white keikogi and a black ninja outfit. Belts and sashes are separate items. The word gi is used broadly and does not describe one cut or material.

Cimac and GOODS.PL products include single- and double-weave judogi, a 10 oz karate gi and 17 oz jiu-jitsu uniforms. Sizes are expressed partly by height, while the tables also give jacket, sleeve and trouser measurements. One blue and white model is described as reversible, which should be confirmed for the selected size.

Size and school requirements

Do not choose a uniform by height alone. Compare the size chart, cut, weave, fabric weight and any shrinkage stated by the maker. Colour, patches, sleeve length and belt type may be governed by club or competition rules, so confirm them before purchase.

Washing and storage

Follow the washing temperature and drying method on the label. Excessive heat can alter the size or shape of the fabric. Do not leave a damp uniform in a bag after practice. Belts, sashes and contrasting colours may need separate washing. Inspect seams and ties before the next class.
