Chinese weapons
The Chinese weapons section includes straight jian swords, curved dao sabres, tai chi and wushu models and polearms such as pudao and dadao. Collectible pieces appear alongside flexible designs described for practice. A traditional form name does not automatically determine material, rigidity or required experience.

How to choose
Identify the discipline, exercise type and teacher requirements. Compare jian or dao form, length, weight, flexibility, handle construction and scabbard. A flexible wushu model and a heavier collectible piece are not interchangeable despite a similar shape.

Care and storage
