The Hobbit collectibles
Beyond weapons and jewellery, The Hobbit is represented by figures, maps and smaller collectible props. The group is varied, so a dimension does not always describe the same thing. Height matters for a figure, full dimensions for a map, and length or display method for a pipe or key.
The Noble Collection pieces include figures of Bilbo, Thorin and Gandalf, a Gandalf paperweight, pipes for Bilbo and Gandalf, a Middle-earth map, Thorin key, keychain and a set of dwarven coins. Figure heights range from 12 to 20 cm, while the map is listed as 40 by 26 cm.
Item type and display
Choose the character or motif first, then check what the item actually is. Compare its dimensions with the intended display space. Material, base, packaging and any set components should come from the individual product description.

Protection from damage
Place figures and small pieces on a stable surface away from a shelf edge. Remove dust with a soft tool suited to the material. Protect maps and paper components from moisture and strong light. Keep the packaging, especially when it supports safe storage.
