The sword was received in a very good condition: - the blade has is nice and even shape and lines - nice polish - not mirror polish but shiny - I think it has a ... very natural look - the weight is very good to handle - the blade and the pommel has good balance - the sharpness is good. I have tried on official cutting mat- The cut is clean and even. - The pommel and the crossguared is nice - maybe the guard is a little bit too "shiny" - the fingertips remaining on it after bare hand touch ... - but of course with fencing or military ... gloves handling it is not a problem. Only one issue what can be better: The black handle wrap leader has a feeling if it would not been tight fixed to the handle core. It feels if it would slip on the wooden core. Maybe only because it is not very tight, it give a strange feeling. For any case when I tried to move it remain in its place but it is a only feeling. The size of the handle is good inr lenght but maybe a little bit thin, even for my relatively small palm. The overall oppinion: it is a very nicely balanced and "warlike" tough sword. I would recommend to anybody who want a ough and stiff sword. Only the handle grip has a strange feeling with bare hand. ...
