Telescopic batons
Telescopic batons collapse to a shorter format, but differ in extended length, weight, diameter, grip material and finish. ESP models dominate this group, with Walther ProSecur also represented. Products of similar length may use a different grip, surface, holster or construction, so compare the full designations.
ESP models include 16, 18, 21, 23 and 26 inch sizes with standard, ergonomic Type-HE or rubber Type-H grips. Black and chrome finishes and BH-02, BH-54 and BH-55 holsters are represented. Walther ProSecur 25 has its own specifications and should not be assessed using ESP data.
Size and holster
Compare collapsed and extended length, weight and grip shape. Match the holster to the exact model and intended carrying position. Before purchase, independently check the current rules governing acquisition, possession, carrying and use in the relevant location.

Mechanism inspection
Maintain the mechanism as described by the maker and avoid treatments that could affect its operation. Inspect the sections, grip and holster for damage. Store the baton away from unauthorised access. This description supports product comparison and is not an instruction for use or legal advice.
