Neck knives
Neck knives are compact fixed blade designs, usually paired with a small sheath that permits several carrying arrangements. Sizes vary widely: Mini Pal and Urban Pal share the category with longer Spike models. A hole or cord alone does not establish a safe carrying method.
Cold Steel examples include Mini Pal, Urban Pal, Super Edge, Secret Edge, Double Agent and Bowie, Drop Point, Tanto and Tokyo Spike profiles. Boker MA-2 and models by SOG and Condor are also represented. Secure-Ex, kydex and other sheath systems differ in retention, size and attachment points.
Knife, sheath and mounting
Compare overall length, weight, blade profile and handle size. Then check whether the sheath securely retains the exact model and what attachment points it provides. Any cord should be assessed with the maker instructions and the intended method of safe transport.

Sheath and blade care
Clean and dry the knife before returning it to the sheath. Inspect the sheath for grit, moisture and damage that could affect retention. Replace a worn cord or attachment. Store the set away from accidental access without placing strain on the sheath or its mounting points.
